Every single Democratic Party member must walk out of the House of Representatives
tomorrow - do not do the same bullshit that was done to Acorn to your own Attorney General.
Boycott this witch-hunt and fugg the NRA. Find some fuggin' balls.

So yes, Congress needs balls, spine, courage, I don't care what anyone calls it, it's been sorely lacking among Democrats over the past decade. |

introduced his bill to illegally defund ACORN. They need to get some balls, chutzpa, courage, spine, whatever describes their lack of guts is okay by me. I save my outrage for actual outrageous things, such as illegal wars, torture, and political corruption like this.
As for the rest of your comment you are entitled to your opinion. I disagree with it. I'm with the Great Bard when it comes to words: What's in a name, a rose by any other name would smell as sweet |

But yes, whatever it takes to get Dems to start standing up against these right wing bullies. It's been driving me crazy for years now to see them cave to the bullying over and over again.
Their excuse for not arresting Rove, eg, was because they did not want to seem partisan and because they feared the Repubs would strike back. How many times did we tell them that the Repubs need NO excuse and would never allow Dems' tolerance of their actual crimes to stop them. I sure hope they've learned something over the past three years. |

You would think we women were made of glass or something!
And once again, we get a distraction from the main topic, which is 'what will Dems do' when Issa once again, tries to bully them into holding Holding in contempt, when we all know how much support they got from Republicans when Karl Rove thumbed his nose at Congress! Not a single Dem should be found in the Chamber when this little political game begins. Do what the Wisconsin Dems had the courage to do, leave and don't come back until they get some sense. |

48. Not this woman.
|
But the weak attempts to distract from real issues by focusing on words, has harmed women. Reams of text devoted to a word, yet, little or no interest in the real problems facing women, makes me wonder if that is not the goal. Who gives a shit what some moron calls me, it bounces off me like a pea off Fort Knox.
Wake me up when the word police finally get around to dealing with the real problems women are facing in this world, not the least of which are our illegal wars, rape of soldiers, rape of Muslim women in the custody of the US, the killing innocent women and children by our WMDS. The destruction of women's rights in the countries where we set up our puppet government. I doubt if women around the world have time to even worry about a word as they gather the pieces of their babies blown to bits by our bombs. Sorry if some of us women can't waste our time posting thousands of whining comments about a single word, while OPs that actually deal with real world abuse and destruction of women around the globe, sink with never a single rec or comment from the 'outraged'. |

But yes, people are troubled by a lot of things. I am troubled by this DOJ on many issues. Such as their persecution of whistle-blowers, their persecution of legal pot growers, their refusal to look into the corrupt political conviction of Don Siegelman eg.
But this is not being done for the good of the people, the motive matters. This is being done for political reasons and the proof of that, in case anyone had any doubts, is that Issa was briefed on F&F in 2010 I believe, and didn't seem to find anything to worry about. Either it was the serious issue he's claiming now back then, or it wasn't then and therefore isn't now. |

But maybe we should use the internet to set up advisory committees for those who are, because you have to wonder sometimes where the are getting their advice, which I'm sure they pay a fortune for.
Issa eg, should have been an easy target for Democrats way back when he went after ACORN and even before that, when he orchestrated the recall of the Democratic Governor in CA. He never should have been allowed to get this far. But rather than fight him, Dems caved. Phonies like him have to be stopped as soon as they rear their corrupt heads, or they end up gaining power. So, all I can say is if people on the internet can dig up info on this guy which should make him ineligible to even be in Congress, I don't know how he got this far. |
