If you think this project is worthwhile, please kick and rec!
Please click on the 20 links below to keep news organizations reporting on the Russian hack of our election. The more clicks the articles get, the more ad revenue they get and the more incentive the publishers have to publish more stories on the Russian hack. We need the media to investigate it and fight it. By clicking, we give them a financial incentive to do that.
After a few weeks where no one was talking about Trump/Russia/TREASON!, things are heating up on two fronts: First is Flynn talking with Russians about the sanctions as a private citizen. As in undermining official US relations with other countries. Second is parts of the dossier have been confirmed by 9 credible sources, including the part about how US participants were paid in Russian oil stock for their participation in the hack of the election.
This is huge, and we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg.
I very strongly recommend a great DU OP from yesterday. It lays out Putin's end goal and his methods. If you are paying attention, you are seeing what the OP describes happening all around right now. http://www.democraticunderground.com/10028632788#post15
Also there's this clip from Rachel that explains the timeline very clearly: http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow/watch/magnitude-of-trump-adviser-flynn-s-russia-scandal-gains-clarity-874908739801
This ain't conspiracy theory, folks. It's looking more and more like Russia is at the helm. If this doesn't get a bipartisan investigation, and a bipartisan response that includes impeachment and prison sentences for the players, we can say goodbye to the American democracy.
Thank you again to all who have been following this and clicking.

(63,199 posts)He then went on to blame the lost election entirely on Clinton and her Third Way agenda, summarily dismissing the impact of Comey, racism, and the like. He seems to think that economic factors were the beginning, middle & end of her loss, and he states that none of the rest could have swung the election if only Clinton had been less Third Way.
Although his general point (that Democrats have largely abandoned the white working class) is quite reasonable, I was struck by his refusal to accept that other factors led to Trump's seizure of the Whitehouse.

(50,936 posts)But when a foreign government puts all of its intelligence capabilities into the propping up of all of the opponents of one candidate, with special attention paid to the propping up of the candidate who will be Russia's most ardent puppet, it's pretty obvious what has happened.
Don't miss the article in the list on how Putin manipulated the far left. Arun Gupta seems to be playing the role of useful idiot in the scheme.

(63,199 posts)I've heard a number of "Progressive" pundits bloviating in the aftermath about how Clinton brought all of this on herself (and us). These eager talkers are so invested in the idea that Clinton is the death of the party that they're willing to ignore or seriously downplay every other factor, as if she campaigned in a perfect environment with no factors working against her.
It's a vain argument in both senses of the word, and it's ultimately nothing more than pseudo-intellectual masturbation. Gupta, like the others, doesn't actually present a solution that can be implemented within the next decade, but I suppose we're supposed to overlook that...

(24,259 posts)you help generate $$ for the site which I suspect will further encourage them to report on the topic.
Just a thought but perhaps some should do copying and pasting of the links into a new window when possible. It still counts as traffic for that article but if they check where traffic is coming from (and some sites do) it won't show how much of the traffic is coming from DU and this specific push post.

If there is a credible link between Trump and that account the Russian oil money went to, the organization called Quatar, it's all over for him.

(2,770 posts)Alex Mohajer of Huff Post and Twitter published this on the Huffington Post contributors page on Sunday. He and three others researched, sifting through many of the Qatar shell companies involved in the sale of 19/19.5% of Rozneft shares. Trump's advisor Schwartzman and the Kochs control the entities that own the shares now. I know. Shocking.
