"Dont Let The Republicans Steal The Election For Mitt Romney." - From Credo Action.
Don't let Republicans steal the election for Mitt Romney
"They've gotten so brazen, Republicans are actually publicly bragging about the attempt to steal the 2012 election. "Back in October of 2011, CREDO Action members fought to stop a voter identification bill in Pennsylvania that would disenfranchise thousands of voters statewide in advance of the 2012 presidential election. Republicans said they were concerned about so-called (but effectively non-existent) voter fraud. The bill passed and was signed into law by Republican Governor Tom Corbett. ""But just this weekend, Pennsylvania Republican House Leader Mike Turzai (R-PA) admitted the bill was about handing Pennsylvania's all-important electoral votes to Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney."

Last edited Wed Jun 27, 2012, 10:39 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1) Election Fraud is not the only problem, there is much more than that...
SEE THAT. THE PROBLEM IS TYRANNY. Lawyers WILL NOT fix that. History of the World and Democracy says this. UNTIL SOMETHING IS DONE ABOUT THE TYRANNY THE INEVITABLE IS ONLY DELAYED. CALL IT WHAT IT IS. THEN YOU CAN FIGHT IT. IF ALL YOU HAVE ARE LAWYERS TO DEFEND YOUR DEMOCRACY, ITS FINISHED. SEE THAT. YOU ALREADY SAW IT IN 2000. This is going on across the ENTIRE country. People better wake up to that and what it really is. |

5. This:

"Tell Sen. Patrick Leahy, chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee: Don't let Pennsylvania Republicans steal the presidential election. Federal hearings are needed now!"
"The Senate Judiciary Committee is the highest ranking Congressional body with jurisdiction over federal voting issues. Sen. Patrick Leahy is the chairman and ranking Democrat on the committee. We need him to hold hearings immediately to investigate actions by Pennsylvania Republicans to interfere with the outcome of a federal election." "The Pennsylvania legislature should be trying to help more eligible voters participate in the democratic process, not disenfranchising seniors, students and the poor. And it certainly should not be disenfranchising U.S. citizens for the explicit purpose of swinging the battleground state of Pennsylvania to Republican Mitt Romney in November." "The bill helps Republicans by making it difficult for members of the Pennsylvania electorate who move a lot, like students and lower-income voters, to be able to vote without going through costly and time consuming procedures to get new photo identification every time they move. Senior citizen voters are also disproportionately affected because they may not be able to drive or might not be physically able to travel to obtain new photo identification." "It's not okay for Pennsylvania Republicans to pick and choose which Pennsylvanians are able to vote. No one should be able to take away a U.S. citizen's right to vote. Now that the bill has passed, federal intervention is necessary to stop the state's Republicans from stealing the presidential election." |

13. Obama prepping thousands of lawyers for election
|
Charles Lichtman, who is helping advise the effort in Florida this year after leading it in the last two cycles, first created the Florida Democratic Lawyers Council after the 2000 election, vowing that there would never be a repeat of that disputed vote. He contends Democrat Al Gore would have won the presidency over Republican George W. Bush if a similar legal infrastructure had been in place then.
Lichtman's efforts have since been replicated for other states. He said that is vital to provide voter protection. "My experience has been that, in every election, the other side has taken drastic measures to try to suppress the vote," Lichtman said. The volunteer organization has not been involved in the 2012 legal disputes so far, though they are monitoring the developments. http://news.yahoo.com/obama-prepping-thousands-lawyers-election-165834755.html |

16. Yes, reading that, knowing that Obama's team has it in hand, gives us hope.

I filled out a survey for barackobama.com and told them that my biggest concern is that the election will be rigged by the Republicans.

|
American Dream is the belief that no one can steal the elections in the USA. That is something that happens in other countries. I can just hear the listeners tune us out when we try to tell them that Holder is stopping it.
There are things that citizens just plain do not want to believe about their country. This is what is so scary about this whole mess. |

11. I remember how terrifying it was for me in 2000.
|
Here we had a blatantly stolen election, and people I knew (who were seemingly educated and fairly liberal) just thought I was "too political" when I tried to start conversations about it. Unbelievable.

14. Yes, we have all been raised to believe that this nation is working. And in the end it is all we
|
have left. To realize that it is in such trouble is more than frightening. Also the rich do not see it that way because it is working for so many of them. I wonder if they ever think what will happen to this country when it is no longer what they think it used to be but more like some very evil nations of the past.
