Prussian Blue Teen Band 'Marijuana changed us from Nazis to peace-loving hippies'
At the age of 11, blonde-haired, blue-eyed twins Lamb and Lynx Gaede formed a band and saw themselves as the new faces of pop music.
But instead, the girls from Bakersfield, California, would soon be labelled the 'new faces of hate'. Not surprising when you consider the group they created in 2003 was a neo-Nazi outfit called Prussian Blue - named after a by-product of the poison used to gas millions of Jews in the Holocaust - at the suggestion of White Nationalist leader William Pierce. Now however, at the age of 20, the twins have radically transformed themselves from hate-spouting extremists to peace-loving hippies. And the reason for their change? Marijuana. The girls, who once wore smiley-face Hitler T-shirts, both now have medical marijuana cards, consider themselves 'healers' and say they are 'pretty liberal now'. 'I’m stoked that we have so many different cultures,' Lynx said. 'I think it’s amazing and it makes me proud of humanity every day that we have so many different places and people.' They said the drug has reignited their creativity, which they now channel in other ways, such as painting. 'We just want to come from a place of love and light,' Lamb said, adding, 'I think we’re meant to do something more - we’re healers. We just want to exert the most love and positivity we can.' Heck..maybe if we could get the Prez to smoke some again...he might turn progressive.Too much to hope for tho...hmmm? |

14. I know a few very well respected neurologists that would agree with you
|
They both support it for PTSD, and one thinks it would be useful for anyone with lots of stress to have shroom experience once a year.

18. Bullshit. It depends on the person...
|
Republicans are generally unstable people. They have no personal insight. Their entire ideology is based off being greedy and selfish. They are not the kind of people you want tripping on shrooms. I've been doing psychedelics for over 30 years now and from experience I can say that some people should not be allowed to take drugs. Most Republicans would be high on my list.
Psychedelic experiences are a doorway to the truth. Monks meditate for years and years to achieve that kind of enlightenment. To get that enlightenment without the discipline needed to understand it can really fuck someone up if they aren't prepared. Some people can handle it with the right setting and the right people, others need the years of discipline, and yet others need to just avoid that shit altogether. |

no wonder they need to shut that shit down!! And now isn't it obvious why medical clubs need to be stopped. Some unsuspecting Nazi might go in for treatment and come out...human! |

7. It's a complicated thing...
|
They grew up and were indoctrinated in a very narrow worldview of hatred and ignorance. It's good that they have started to reject the very most vile of those philosophies, but I'm sure they still hold to a lot of the ignorant illusions that white privilege allows, and that their background demanded. It looks like they still have a relationship with their mother as well, so that adds to the tension between where they're going and where they've been. Hopefully with time and more knowledge they will evolve further.

I know the first amendment protects them but I would love to see their parents arrested for child endangerment. That kind of hate will slowly kill you inside then outside.

12. Looks like the power of love has overcome the love of power
|
The power of love is so much more than the power of ignorance and money. It looks bad now, but We will overcome!
This give me so much hope for our future. The youth are turning down alcohol and instead smoking in larger numbers. These Nazis cannot steal everyone's dreams and livelihoods forever...there is going to be a backlash, and it is going to be HUGE!! |

From the REST OF THE ARTICLE
Asked whether the Holocaust happened, Lynx replied, 'I think certain things happened. I think a lot of the stories got misconstrued. I mean, yeah, Hitler wasn't the best, but Stalin wasn't, Churchill wasn't. I disagree with everybody at that time.' Lamb added: 'I just think everyone needs to frickin' get over it.
