Now, I ask you, is that a wise way to spend money for a campaign to run ads on a large, popular forum of the opposing party?
Is Obama running ads on Freerepublic?
Not that I begrudge the Romney ads. Spend, spend, spend here on DU, to your heart's content. That's wasted dollars.
Talk about having money to burn.

(3,894 posts)but the last time I saw this explained, it went something like this.
When setting up the ads you pick keywords, and if those keywords exist on a page that displays Google ads, then it may be displayed. So if the Romney crew used the keywords "political forum", then the randomized ad system will display that on DU. I wonder if the RW forums that have Google ads have Dem ads on them? I would imagine so.
Just a note, if you click on those ads you cost the Romney campaign every time even if you don't contribute, just the click costs. So click away, I say.

Google ads are on the front page, and there are many other ad sources that work essentially the same.
DU is currently using
easyinline.com
mysupercheap.com
nsdsvc.com
any of those could be creating randomly selected, topic related ads.
