Anyone have a White House source for them backing down on crowd size fiasco?

ETA: Just to clarify - since the responses I'm getting are cute - but not what I'm looking for.

More than one MSM article says that the White House is actually backing down - or distancing itself from Spicer. None that I've found include any attribution to to a source for that assertion. I'm looking for a press conference, a statement, anything from the White House that supports the assertions being made by the MSM that the White House is backing down. Or - as noted in the CNN article that they are now claiming they were given correct information.

In a Monday morning panel on CNN’s “New Day” host Chris Cuomo outright called press secretary Sean Spicer’s numbers about Trump’s crowd size “wrong” and explained that Trump’s White House is now claiming they were given incorrect information.

I've seen a couple of references to it - here and, I believe, in a NYT article. But nothing from the White House I can point to.

I'm trying to work on a Trump supporter - using sources she believes.

Last night it was CNN's photo that (according to her) contradicts the aerial shots. But if you zoom in, you can see the bare patches in the crowd near the media tent. She is sure the aerial photos were taken at dawn - just as people were trickling in (and compared to a mid-inauguration crowd for Obama) - so I zoomed into the bare spaces in the photo she trusts and did a screen capture.

I'd love to be able to point to a White House source backing down on the lies - but I haven't found any.

I want to be able to point to a White House acknowledgement that their facts were wrong - that they were mislead.

The CNN panel flat out says that happened. Other media has hinted at it - by saying the White House is backing away from Spicer. But no one (that I've seen) has identified where this backing away information comes from.

The person I'm trying to reach won't believe a report by the MSM that I can't trace back to the White House itself.

"Conway eventually backed off Spicer’s adamant claims and inflated crowd estimates. “I don’t think you can prove those numbers one way or the another,” she said. “There’s no way to really quantify crowds.”

2 stories with same basic notion put forth by the authors. Which ain't really saying anything to back the idea its an "official backing off".

The suggestions that they are distancing themselves from Spicer and attributing his lies to getting bad information came after Conway's "alternative facts" speech. They started appearing yesterday, I believe.

I'll scroll through pressreader - I didn't see anything quickly, and I've got to run.

qualified to run the show but anyway he was on FOX news Sunday and yeah it looked like he was taking the blame for some of the crowd bullshit, so maybe he'll be the fall guy with the Spicer LIES.

I think this is a great plan because it's totally fooling me and makes perfect sense.
