(612 posts)My calendar says - "January 20th - President Obama Leaves Office." But I'm not surprised that Trump is still engaged in trying to convince himself that he really is the legitimate President. Because whatever WE know about the popular vote, about Russian interference in our democracy, about his disgusting business practices, about his thousands of lawsuits, about his ignorance of basic national and global issues, about his sleazy attempts to extract money from struggling people (in such enterprises as "Trump University" , about his misuse of his foundation's funds, about his miniscule charitable contributions, and so forth . . . He actually knows about ALL of it, and he is forced to keep exaggerating and distorting the facts to soothe himself into accepting that - in spite of all that - he was somehow able to squeeze out an electoral win. He knows he doesn't deserve it, and, consequently, the campaign cannot end. As he often Tweets, " Sad!"
