on Juneteenth I commented to someone on just that sentiment... I celebrate the end of "official" slavery ...but it ain't over yet...

2. There's a certain parallel: Tolstoy was almost two separate persons.

Changed over time radically. IMHO, shows the advantage of an author dying young. Others disagree.
