Why Donald Trump tweets like a little child

is something the American people have a right to know. Some say he tweets like a little girl, others say like a little boy. Google the question and you see lots of Americans asking that question but no one has the answer or even a guess. Clearly this is a cover up. A 74 year old man who is supposed to be preparing for the most powerful position in the world is instead chattering, boasting and preening nonstop on Twitter.

Is no one willing to swim into the psychological weeds where the answer lies? Can no one offer possible sources for this bizarre behavior? I believe this community can break through the silence and offer explanations for this regressive exhibitionism. Extra points if you include Ivanka, Putin, his fetishes and his bizarre appearance in your answer.

don't reopen because China is still selling it cheaper than the US manufacturers can, tariffs are not put on imports, no clothing manufacturers come back, all those unemployed/underemployed people who BELIEVED the Con WILL realize they've been had. Not ALL the people who voted for the Con are insane. A lot of them were just so disgusted with the way our government has been supporting business and Wall Street and ignoring "the people", they decided to take a chance on someone completely outside gov't and see if HE will do better. They will be watching and will be vocal when they still aren't heard.

Donald was trying to make up for being such a blockhead father his entire life so one day he dressed up in a pretty frock and wig to have a tea party with his daughter. It terrified her since she was about 30 years old, but he had such a wonderful time that he didn't want to give it up. When his sycophants and suck ups started to snicker at him, he gave up the frock and wig and reluctantly put on his really really big big-boy pants. But he also began to punish everyone who dared to make fun of him or didn't want to hear his falsetto songs or watch his stumble footed dancing.

He grew his hair even longer. He dyed it orange, combing and spraying it till it shone like the sun but he needed more attention. More adoration. When he discovered Twitter his heart soared. He knew he was meant to tweet and tweet and tweet some more. Now almost every night he puts on his dress and pretends he is the bestest, prettiest, smartest little girl in the whole wide world and everyone loves him to death.

Maybe he was doing this in a Russian hotel room and Putin was watching and sent in the prostitutes and got it all on video.

But before we try to make him stop we should remember that all this tweeting will keep his stubby little fingers busy and off the buttons on the nuclear football.

One of numerous traits of his narcissistic personality disorder. He can't handle criticism, he thinks he's always right, and he lays it out there as if his word is gospel.

He has, what Buddhists call "monkey mind." A mind that jumps around from idea to idea in unrelated, confused, and chaotic manner.
An unfocused, undisciplined, confused mind that generates beliefs and interpretations that are not well considered (if all all). And also a mind that has the wrong view about the Self. He thinks his Self is a real, solid thing that must be maintained at any cost. He projects that Self to be the center of the universe, all important, like God. And because he projects himself as a wealthy man, he rationalizes that his Self is a God-king. Outside his family and a few trusted counsels, everyone else is a servant to be used to build his pyramid.

In his confused mind, image and presentation are reality, but substance and detail aren't important. This is a symptom of an untrained and unfocused mind. He could learn the skill of focusing his mind, but Donald is lazy. So much easier to pretend that it looks good, rather than making it good and getting respected agreement that it is good. When we say, "Hey Donald! that's not good," he gets resentful. Learning is not always easy, fun, and entertaining. But I guess no one ever told Donald that life is difficult, and learning can be frustrating.

As a Buddhist, I believe that he carries around karma from his past deeds, maybe even from a past life. We can't really know what karma someone drags around. But from my side, looking at him, I see a very very damaged personality. His pathological lies at every turn are a mystery to me. How he can continue to tell a lie that everyone knows is a lie is really weird, because we have the lie on tape. That I don't understand. A normal person would experience shame at being caught in any lie, and his are very public. So this tells me that he lacks empathy for others - very narcissistic and sociopathic. that's just not what normal people do.

Trump's moral compass is broken, because it only points to the $ dollar sign. There is no understanding and practice of the Golden Rule to treat others as he wishes to be treated. Just a complete vacuum in the ethics department.

If you're into the Enneagram 9 Personality types, I see Trump as a Type 8 - the boss, the leader, the challenger. That is, his personalty sees his Self as the boss. See https://www.enneagraminstitute.com/type-8

But not sure how it explains the regressive tweeting. You look at it and you see a little spoiled kid. Not a leader. Not a boss but a bossy little child who wants his way and wants everybody to think he's special. Most narcissist have some fairly good idea about how they appear to other people, especially those not close to them. They hide the ugly weak or frightening aspects of their personality from them. Trump seems Clueless about how he appears or truly doesn't care. He's like a two-year-old who wants everybody to admire his bowel movements whether they made it into the toilet or are on the floor.

Low functioning and higher functioning. For example FDR and Lincoln are considered high functioning 8s. Stalin is considered to be low functioning 8. Trump cares how he appears, but he only sees his own reflection of what he thinks he is projecting. He is incapable of seeing himself from a perspective other than his own perspective. He can't see himself as others see him. He has low (or no) empathy. And when people tell him how they see him, rejects that perspective and defends his own Self projections.

Maybe in a future life, he can encounter an authentic dharma teacher to begin to wake him up. Divine consciousness in man can be awake. It can also be asleep.

The unhealthy levels 6-8 of Type Eight fit Trump very well and are truly terrifying to think about. If he is a very unhealthy eight as he appears, then he needs to be put out of office quickly before he can use that power to keep himself there regardless of what he does. But his tweeting reveals inner weakness. He must deter, intimidate or destroy his enemies immediately or be seen as a wimp. And yet the more he blusters and self aggrandizes the weaker and more insecure he sounds.

The Jungian concept of anima possession might explain why some say Trump tweets like a 15 year old girl. Think of the archteype of the spoiled rich girl. (Archie's girlfriend Veronica, comes to mind.) She gets whatever she wants. She wraps her boyfriends around her finger but has a fit if he doesn't come over when she says regardless of what he has to do. She can get Dad to buy her the BMW instead of the Volkswagen he was planning. She can get her male teachers to give her an A instead of the D she earned. Everyone has to listen to her all the time and she can go on and on and on. Trump's inner feminine partner seems like that; a vain bitchy, pretentious easily wounded gold-digger who can never get enough attention and has to be in control at all times.

How did he get possessed of this caricature of femininity? I don't know. Maybe he watched his father fooling around with young women behind his mother's back. Maybe his father took Donald along with him on his trysts teaching him how to be a real man and how to view and treat women at the same time.
The fact is that Trump was given everything he could want to be a success and were it not for his father's bankroll and friends he would have been an utter failure and probably be in some homeless shelter. Maybe that is what his anima is whispering in his ear all the time.

I keep thinking about his views of women which kept emerging throughout the campaign. In the "pussy grabbing" video he sees them as shallow, fawning playthings to be fondled or fucked and then discarded. In his sneering dismissive contempt of Hillary Clinton and Carly Fiorina he was saying they were ugly old crones unpleasant to look at and without any value now. He even hinted that he could understand Bill's unfaithfulness. In his interviews with Howard Stern he talked openly about his daughters sexual desirability and his wish to date her. He invited Stern and his audience to consider her a nice "piece of ass." She responds to him by showing him her perfect smile and teeth and allowing him to nearly grope her openly. As long as she does that she is perfect. The man is twisted.

Meanwhile he tweets self congratulating ignorance, hate, threats and ever more blatant lies getting closer and closer to a place of awesome power where someone like him should never be allowed. All I know is that he creeps me out more each day and I am truly frightened for the whole world if he is allowed to assume power.

Never forget that Trump is an amoral con artist. Definitely a pathological personality. He will create more and more enemies for himself. And all those foolish enough to be his stooges and lackeys are in danger of getting swept away in their tsunami of karmic consequences.

At this very moment, journalists are scrambling to get the scoop on Trump scandals. There's a few Pulitzer prizes waiting out there in the future.

The boss is all he has been for decades. I can't wait to see his response when Congress refuses to "do what he TOLD them to do." He said quite a number of times that he has no problem getting anybody to do what he wants, all he has to do is tell them and they do it.

who has written two books-- Bush on the Couch and Obama on the Couch--and is at work on Trump on the Couch
interesting as it specifically addresses Trump's use of Twitter.

Frank thinks Trump has a form of ADHD; that he has narcissistic injury from having narcissistic parents; and that this short attention
span and impulsiveness is perfectly adapted to Twitter. He also thinks Twitter lets Trump blow off steam--rage and anger that he feels
from being insulted--and that's a good thing.

while I agree there is a serious psychological issue going on, I also have to wonder if he (his parents) may not have received some kind of developmental disability diagnosis early in life--that he has spent his life trying to disprove/excuse and perhaps that explains his intense desire to believe vaccines are the problem... While others speculated on a possible issue with his son, Barron leading to his off-base attitudes toward vaccines, perhaps instead the sensitivity comes with Trump himself...

At a minimum, he is clearly narcissistic and undoubtedly ADHD... However, I am convinced it goes much further...

You can only lie to yourself. That is, we tend to believe the stuff we tell ourselves about our Self. Everyone can see our personality faults, except us. Mostly. No wonder Trump freaks out and lashes back at the slightest criticism. He perceives them as a dangerous threat and a painful wound to his projected self image.

Well we could all sit around and do amateur psychology on Donald Trump (and probably will continue to do so.) Lately I have been contemplating something my lama Dudgom Dorje said. "Did you forget your boddhisattva vow? You can't leave anyone behind in samsara. Not Hitler, not Stalin. No one." I confess that I don't yet have the skillful means to help liberate a Donald Trump from samsara. But I do believe in karma. His words and deeds will bear results. And he's in for a whole heap of ego reduction. I'm thinking perp walk at the least.
