UPDATE! Middle schoolers bully bus monitor, 68, with stream of profanity, jeers

SNIP

The video prompted an outpouring of support and a fundraiser by an international crowd funding site that had gathered more than $100,000 by early Thursday.

"Let's give Karen a vacation of a lifetime. Let's show her the power of the internets and how kind and generous people can be," the fundraiser's organizer said on the website. The organizer did not respond to CNN requests for comment on the website.

The school district said its bullying team and the local police are conducting an investigation.

"We have discovered other similar videos on YouTube and are working to identify all of the students involved," the school district said in a statement.

Than they did for Zimmerman. Where do I donate?

On Edit: Here's the Link Just in case anyone else is interested in donating. Hopefully, there will be enough raised so that she can retire.

What they subjected her to was so incredibly cruel. I hope those kids are disciplined in some way - that just wasn't right.

Let them find another way to get to school.

Shameful behavior.

Ugh. They sound like future Romney voters around the 9:45 min mark as they talk about her income.

Now the whole world has seen it. And now I believe those kids are ashamed of themselves.

8. Their parents' names should be published in the local newspaper where they live as an example

of how NOT to raise your kids!

Hold the parents responsible and SHAME them publicly! When they feel the heat, perhaps they'll get the message and start dealing with their children's behavior...

10. Personally I think the parents should be held accountable for what these children have done.

Clearly these parents haven't done their job with teaching their children to accept people for who they are and to not bully.

13. Sounds like kids need to be held back until they can learn some manners.

"Because of your four-week suspension, you weren't around to complete the school year, so you've failed your classes and will be repeating a grade."

Seems like a fitting punishment that won't screw them up for the rest of their lives.
