someone dragging Sanders into things. They remind me of some of the God-botherers I know. They never seem to shut up about God, whether we want to hear it or not.

He was the topic of the thread, not some independent Senator with a thin record of accomplishment.

Actually, this is the first time I've read the term God-botherer outside of a British novel, and so it kind of tickled me.

Have not been a Christian as such in quite a long time, but during the BushCheney years I signed up for a number of Christian, Jewish, and Interfaith online newsletters (i.e. Sojourners) because it greatly consoled me to know there are still people of faith who are also people of goodwill. Lately I've had cause to look up those links again because of participating in an online group where a number of posters self-identified as Christians in spiritual crisis because of the hate unleashed by Trump being expressed in their churches as a kind of sewage outflow. It hurts me to see that kind of pain, and I urged each one I encountered to look up Sojourners, change denominations, and not give up.

Look who's going to be controlling the federal government and they haven't exactly hidden their intentions.

He knew what was going on and we didn't listen.

Notice how he mentioned Texas oil millionaires...I am sure the same ones who were eventually responsible for the death of our beloved President Kennedy.

I'm looking online for a speech, and I'm kind of shocked there's nothing available in audio format.
Was it something in a written format?

It was in a letter to his brother, Edgar N. Eisenhower, last half of the 4th paragraph down.
