wow.....where did this rib idea come from anyway? I mean why would anyone come up with this?

It must be some very old symbol of something we no longer understand.

First, God created Adam, and God said this is good.
Then he realized his mistake and decided to create a partner for Adam.
While Adam was unconscious God removed a rib from Adam and
create Eve.

They lived in the Garden of Eden. Told they could retire there as long
as they didn't eat the fruit from the forbidden tree.

Then that evil Be-ach Eve, manipulated and convinced dumb as dirt Adam,
to take a bite of the apple from the forbidden tree, and women have been
manipulating men with their evil charms ever since.

That's why the Republicans have to make all these laws against women.

where do you think this idea really came from that it has been passed down for so long?

It is such an odd concept and so I wonder what the roots of it are. Perhaps ribs stand for something very different than what we currently associate them with.
