Mubarak clinically dead

CAIRO -- Toppled Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was declared “clinically dead” after suffering a stroke and slipping out of consciousness at a prison hospital in Cairo, according to the official state news agency, which quoted unnamed medical sources.

The report says Mubarak, who is serving a life sentence for complicity to commit murder in the deaths of hundreds of protesters in the uprising that overthrew him last year,  was declared clinically dead after his transfer from the prison hospital to a military hospital a few miles away.

That must be the shortest life sentence ever
