Of course she lives 45 miles away and doesn't charge for the trip to the barn. She tries to group clients together so she can maximize her mileage but that doesn't always work since sometimes she's called out to work on horses with a muscle spasm or some other type of "emergency" reason. She travels a LONG way between barns so its hard to make a ton of money at this.

Its hugely exhausting and physical since the muscle mass is so much larger, she can't do a vast number in a day.

Plus, she's a competent rider which is pretty much a necessity for any masseur who works on horses. They have to understand the pressures that riders put on horses so she's had lots of "other" expensive training besides her certificate in equine massage. Furthermore, her clients really will bite, kick and viciously lash out if you're trying to work out a knot so there's that.

But yeah, it does seem like a lot. On the other hand, she's incredibly hard working and definitely not part of the 1%. I wish everyone could work for themselves in their own business, doing what they love, for decent pay.
