2. He can't quit; Vicki Kennedy fired him!
|
Republican Sen. Scott Brown’s terms for debating Democratic nominee Elizabeth Warren at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute in Massachusetts were rejected Tuesday, a move that prompted Brown to pull out of the event altogether.
The Kennedy Institute rebuffed the Brown campaign’s demand that Vicki Kennedy, widow of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy and president of the institute named in his honor, pledge to not make any endorsement throughout the Senate race. “This non-endorsement pledge is unprecedented and is not being required of any other persons or entities. To us, such a pledge seems inappropriate when a non-media sponsor issues a debate invitation,” Kennedy Institute chief operating officer Lisa McBirney and chief of staff Christopher Hogan wrote in a letter released Tuesday. |

15. Plus he demands the room be draped in cream or soft pink
|
... and the room needs to be outfitted with two cream-colored egg chairs, one of which should have a footstool. A coffee table needs to be perspex modern style. A pair of floor lamps should be in French ornate style. And a refrigerator must come with a glass door. Plus any floral arrangements must include white and purple hydrangeas, pink and white roses, and peonies. ABSOLUTELY NO CARNATIONS!! Water dispensers must be provided. He requires a 1 bedroom presidential suite be made ready in case he wishes to nap. His chauffeur must not look at or start a conversation with him.

Let's see if I have this straight. Multi-millionaires and billionaires can give unlimited amounts of money in the name of free speech. Since we can't limit speech, we can't limit how much money they can donate, right? But the widow (or anyone, for that matter) of the man that used to hold that seat DOESN'T have the right to free speech. What universe do these people live in?

She seriously, does need to proceed with her plans to let the audience hear what answers she has to the problems that plague this country. If Mr. Brown-chickenshit doesn't wish to show up, so be it. Let him hide under his bed. She has the inside track, and he is totally out of touch with real life. Love always, Dad |
