Another Great Observation By Bill Moyers...Last edited Tue Jun 19, 2012, 01:30 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1) ... our elections have replaced horse racing as the sport of kings. Only these kings aren’t your everyday poobahs and potentates. These kings are multi-billionaire, corporate moguls who by the divine right, not of God, but the United States Supreme Court and its Citizens United decision, are now buying politicians like so much pricey horseflesh. All that money pouring into Super PACs, much of it from secret sources: merely an investment, should their horse pay off in November, in the best government money can buy.

1. Except the horses all have three legs and have been drugged into insensibility.

People watch horse racing for the thrill of competition. I think these guys are into elections for the thrill of cruelty.

An open question to the Supreme Court--
Does this look like a "person?" I ask you, does this look like a "person?" |

5. K&R for truth. Never forget the use of hedging with this crowd.

Seldom is the game set up where they lose, in fact other than as a direct result of "winning" they have never done anything than benefit.
The center of gravity is between the short term turn around crowd and the golden goose squeezers, not the people and the corporations, not the states and the central government, not left and right. |
