President Barack Obama's immigration was the right thing to do, popular, and puts Republicans in a bind.

Two Rope-A-Dopes.

1. Obama comes out supporting marriage freedom. LGBT community, and a vast majority of the public agree. Republicans disagree, but they are counter to the vast majority.

2. Obama implements DREAM via executive order. Supported by huge majority who see this as an ethical issue. Republicans are mostly speechless, but some still twist and turn in an attempt to deny Obama's sucker punch.

This is classic Rope-A-Dope. I expect to see Ali photographed walking into the West Wing any day now.

The Obama campaign is very smart. And it's working.
