GOP Front Group Suggests WWII Vets Fought To Protect Unlimited Secret Money In Elections

The American Future Fund (AFF), a shadowy right-wing attack ad group that does not identify its donors, was responsible for one of the most racially offensive ads of the 2010 cycle. But its latest online ad, “Thank You Senator McConnell,” may be one of the 2012 cycle’s most ridiculous.

The 80-second spot features images of the nation’s Founding Fathers, American troops on D-Day, anti-government protesters wielding “Don’t Tread On Me” flags, and a clip of Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) recent speech blasting calls for disclosure and limits to unfettered corporate political spending — all while text on the screen suggests American veterans fought for corporations’ right to buy and sell elections:

4. Yes - people who spent the last 3 decades hanging on the every word of RW media networks

developed over the last 3 decades by two global fascists, the Korean cult leader Rev Moon and the Australian extortionist Rupert Murdoch.
In other words, the GOPs moonie voter base.

Call them out as the traitors they are.

2. WW2 vets fought AGAINST fascism. Multinational corporations controlling government is fascism.

And those global fascists are succeeding by pushing the GOP strategy of social and cultural division.

From Henry Wallace's 1944 warning about the Dangers of American Fascism:

"A fascist is one whose lust for money or power is combined with such an intensity of intolerance toward those of other races, parties, classes, religions, cultures, regions or nations as to make him ruthless in his use of deceit or violence to attain his ends. The supreme god of a fascist, to which his ends are directed, may be money or power; may be a race or a class; may be a military, clique or an economic group; or may be a culture, religion, or a political party."

3. This is just how

This is just how they rebooted the Christian religion as a corporate friendly jingoistic state cult for the masses. Now they're rewriting the rest of American history to place corporatism front and center.

Sensible realists say: "We're nowhere near Fascism in this country."

Yeah right. If you're a sensible realist, you're probably either a tool or just asleep at the wheel.

6. Sensible realists say Romney is Satan

See, even I can make up a lie about sensible realists! Isn't this fun? Let's all make up our own lie!

7. Actually

A sensible realist I spoke with yesterday told me that Romney is our only chance for real reform in this country. I didn't stick around for details.

8. The first Amendment protects freedom of speech from government intrusion

It does not say anything about anonymity.
