Known for showing up unexpectedly, the comic legend crashed a press conference and took to the mics to engage reporters.
I feel very confident that Clayton Kershaw is a great, great pitcher, but we got too many sticks, we got too many sticks, Murray said. At home, our crowd, the weather. We get a little bit of autumn in Chicago, you dont get that in Los Angeles. Trees just die in Los Angeles. In Illinois they flourish.
He even joked that the press needs ice luges instead of coffee machines.

(36,420 posts)It was a day game, of course, because they hadn't installed the damn lights. The Mets beat the Cubs in extra innings. It was the Mets 100th win of the season, and they went on to win the World Series.
Totally cool place to visit, but I missed Elwood. I suspect he was visiting his brother, Jake, up in the big house in Joliet.

And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.
