Michelle Obama is delivering an extraordinary critique of Trump’s attack on women.

Maybe we just don’t want to believe that there are still people out there who think so little of us as women.

New Hampshire, be clear. This is not normal. This is not politics as usual. This is disgraceful. It is intolerable....

This is not about politics. This is about right and wrong.

We simply can’t expose our children to this, not for another minute, and not for four years....

Enough is enough. This has got to stop right now.

3. Maher was absolutely right in that Trump is a "50s guy."

That means this isn't about governing the country, making things better for families, or any of the other pious claptrap. This election is about reestablishing a rigid patriarchy where men are men and women and children are their property, women providing unpaid servitude in every home. That's what these assholes really think will make America "great" again, giving us a regimented system in which everybody knows his or her place.

Maher seems to think it's the dying gasp of that particular mindset but I think we all know better and that is what is so infuriating about Trump's chumps. That moron has legitimized all their backwards, regressive, misogynistic thinking and we're going to have to fight a lot of battles all over again.
