Is something wrong with George W Bush?

Let me be more specific. Has anyone else thought he looks like a man with the early onset of dimentia? He reminds me of a family friend started off acting like a child before doctors told him and his family that he was in the early stages of Alzheimer's. Did anyone else get that sense?

To Amazing Grace. But George W. Bush has never been "right" - he's always been a suit short of a deck of cards.

That just seemed so out of place at that memorial. Could explain why he sort of went underground after he was out of the White House. You never really see him anywhere.

When my mother's Alzheimer's first became apparent, she was very angry and always lashing out. It wasn't until the last six months or so that she became much more docile and child like. But I don't know that Alzheimer's follows a set pattern with everyone.

I'm wondering if George W might not be suffering from the long term effects of alcohol and or drug abuse. Some people get away unscathed, some don't.

W rarely is seen in public these days. He used to go to the Rangers games on a regular basis and now hardly ever does. I think he was drunk or high during the Dallas police memorial service, and I think it's become such a problem he can't go out anymore.

but he's an adult, he can spend his time how he chooses.

And I don't cast judgment on that; I've known more than my share of alcoholics in my day. It's a tough nut to crack.

I admit I've felt a little bad for him the last few times I've seen video of him.
