Trump's threat to jail Clinton draws condemnation. "In the USA we do not threaten to jail political

/
After saying people across the country were "furious" with Clinton, Trump said, "So we're going to get a special prosecutor, and we're going to look into it." He added: "It's a disgrace. And honestly, you ought to be ashamed of yourself."

Trump's remarks drew widespread and bipartisan condemnation as un-American.

Former Attorney General Eric Holder, who served under President Barack Obama, wrote on Twitter: "In the USA we do not threaten to jail political opponents. @realDonaldTrump said he would. He is promising to abuse the power of the office."

A Republican said that what tRamp said about jailing Hillary was WAY out of line and out of bounds.

Speaks volumes.

He still wants to jail them even though they were proven innocent. He just wants a place where he can decide who is to be punished and who he will allow to serve him. He is nothing but a megalomaniac. And that's what some seem to want as president and the gop is allowing to run as their nominee.

They can't stop screeching about how Obama is a tyrant/dictator, even though he's done nothing to earn such labels. Meanwhile, their guy brags how he's going to do all kinds of stuff no president has the constitutional right to do and they're happy to carry him on their shoulders through the White House doors.

Sick blatant hypocrites.

Obama could pardon her on January 19 for "all crimes that may have been committed" b/w 2009-2013.

It continues with the comment from Ari Fleischer, for the 'bipartisan' bit:

Ari Fleischer, White House press secretary under George W. Bush and a supporter of Trump, wrote: “Winning candidates don’t threaten to put opponents in jail. Presidents don’t threaten prosecution of individuals. Trump is wrong on this.”
