(34,131 posts)I bet that bit blowing south along the Carolina coast will be part of what turns Matthew. I don't know what the heck that is up near Greenland but it is making some really strange patterns out there!

(60,010 posts)and can predict the winds thru next Monday, by sliding the pointer on the botto left side date bar.
It predicts Matthew coming back down the Fla. coast, somewhat influenced by that other lil hurricane east of it.
Very spooky to behold.
worse yet, days of onshore rains up and down the SE coasts.
This link may be set on next Monday's forecast, but the tab can be set to the left to start from today.

(34,131 posts)Click on the Earth thing at the bottom left and that opens a menu. Control lets you move it forward +3 hours or a day at a time -or back if you've already run it ahead.
I am so glad I am not on the east coast. We already got our hurricane this year - Hermine went through Labor Day weekend and took out dozens of trees in the area, plus took out the power for days.
