Donald Trump thinks only stupid people pay taxes

Which is actually quite the honest statement about what Trump believes. He 100% meant it. It wasn't a gaffe. Donald Trump defines how smart someone is by how much they've fucked over other people to make themselves rich and powerful. That's genuinely what he believes. And not coincidentally, the epitome of what Donald Trump defines as being smart is Donald Trump himself.

If Dr. Robert Hare were to sit down with Trump and spend some time with him, he'd see unbelievable amounts of narcissism, vanity, glibness, delusions of grandeur, and someone utterly lacking in empathy and emotional development - in short, many of the exact traits that define psychopathic/sociopathic behavior (or Antisocial Personality Disorder). Not surprisingly, this same type of personality - and the resulting set of beliefs and behaviors - has a higher than average prevalence within the upper echelons of the corporate/big business world and among super-wealthy people in general. Trump is just extremely open and boorish about it.
