The moment Donald Trump lost not only the debate, but the election

Trump: "I've been all over the place. You decided to stay home, and that's okay."

Hillary: "I think Donald just criticized me for preparing for this debate. And yes, I did. And you know what else I prepared for? I prepared to be president. And I think that's a good thing."

If he can't prepare for a debate, why the hell should he prepare for his duties if, by some strange chance, he managed to get elected. International diplomacy is too important to just "wing it," and that's what Trump attempted to do tonight.

Hillary, OTOH, prepared for her time on stage with the meticulousness of General Eisenhower planning the Normandy invasion. And it showed.

This is what's really going to be scary: Hillary is going to go straight back home and prepare for the next debate. Trump will try winging it again, if he even deigns to debate in the first place.

The visuals and interrupting will be the most important, displays his complete inability to maintain composure.

But his team is trying to spin away the poor performance by saying he was out campaigning. That will just play into the meme that he can't rise to the occasion, he prepped for the Super Bowl by spending every day giving interviews, but then got his ass kicked in the game who spent her time actually practicing. It will dog him like the Birther issue.

a candidate who took the time to prepare for the debate.

Trump, OTOH, said FU to all that and tried to wing it, because in his feeble mind, the American people aren't worth his spending time preparing for a debate.

that finally got the media in a mood to be a bit critical of trump.

but as for the debate itself? so many juicy moments.

bragging about his temperament (he still thinks that means "temper&quot was a good one!

but i really liked "that makes me smart", bragging about making over $600 million and paying zero taxes. i'm sure the undecided vote who pays $10,000 in taxes on $50,000 of income can really relate to that.

...........the undecided voters are breaking HARD for Hillary ever since the debate ended. I've seen reports from about 3 different pollsters (including RWer Luntz) and they all agree that the undecided voters in their groups broke for Hillary in overwhelming numbers. I also saw that betting lines in Vegas (another great indicator that is even more accurate than polls) moved sharply in Hillary's favor immediately following the debate as well.

Let's face it. She kicked his ass. And every pundit I saw on TV tonight agreed that it wasn't even close.

She called him "Donald" all night long, even right when they shook hands before the debate started. She never gave him the honorific title of Mister, or respectfully referred to him by his last name. It's what he deserves.

Donald, on the other hand, seemed reduced to conventionality and dignity. He could not do his school yard bully bullshit act in front of 100 million people, and he knew it. All night long he referred to her very respectfully as Secretary Clinton. He knew that if he tried that "Crooked Hillary" crap, he'd come across even worse.

He knows his place. He's Donald. She's Secretary of State, and soon to be Madame President, Clinton.

It's sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander then. If he gets to refer to her by her first name, then she can certainly refer to him by his first name.

I don't think he's used to it though, and I don't think he likes it.

In essence, the government has had to bail him out of his reckless business practices four times now. And thousands of business owners, as Hillary pointed out, haven't ever gone bankrupt.

He didn't do so well when it came to stiffing his subcontractors either. I've signed a bunch of contracts, and never have I seen one that said, "if you don't like what it turned out like, you can keep the thing and not pay for it."

this is the most watched out of all of them... i am sure people will be watching the others .. but this will resonate the most i think.... most pundits agree that she will see a bump... some like Hewitt , Wallace and Ginsburg on MSNBC were grumpy sd while she won that it will have no effect on the voters.. they are delusional...!! She won bigly and the undecideds are coming to her.. we just need to GFOTV!!!!!!! I am sure the next few debates will be interesting but i doubt 100 million will tune in to those... Trump probably had his best shot tonite and he blew it (thankfully!)

All I saw was President-elect Hillary Rodham Clinton. She never went down to his level. And at the end she shook Lester Holt's hand and thanked him because that's what Presidents to be do. Donald Trump walked away not even acknowledging or thanking Lester. Then Hillary and Bill said hello to audience, voters. Afterward she held a rally. Trump went home to nurse his self-inflicted wounds.

It was a thing of beauty.

I'm so excited. I witnessed the first history making election and now I get to do it again!!!!!

He wasn't going to shake Lester Holt's hand until he started walking off and apparently, someone in the campaign gave him a look and said shake his hand.

It has been said the he praised Lester Holt's questioning on the same night (Monday) and trashed it today (Tuesday) on, where else, Fox and Friends.

http://www.thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/288471-report-trump-camp-offered-to-make-kasich-most-powerful-vp

Trump's oldest son, Donald Trump Jr., reached out to a Kasich adviser after the Ohio governor ended his own Republican presidential campaign, promising that if he accepted the vice presidency, Kasich would be in charge of domestic and foreign policy.

The adviser asked what Trump would be in charge of, the report said, and Trump Jr. responded: "Making America great again."
