Caribou Barbie's daughter will be on Lifetime

Sigh / ugh

(Reuters) - Bristol Palin says she is just a "grounded, normal mom", and is hoping her new reality TV show will prove it.

"Life's a Tripp", which premieres on the Lifetime channel on Tuesday, June 19, is being promoted as an inside look at the life of "America's most famous teen mom" in the face of intense media scrutiny.

It follows the eldest daughter of polarizing conservative politician Sarah Palin as she embarks on her latest adventure - a move from her Wasilla, Alaska hometown to a Los Angeles mansion owned by a family friend, and back again - along with her young son Tripp.

"People are going to see the real Bristol in this show," Palin, now 21, told the "Good Morning America" TV news and chat show. "I'm just a grounded, normal mom."

1. She makes me sick. Why should she have a reality show? I would never watch!

2. I do not see what her appeal is to anyone, but I guess if people will watch

will watch the Kardashians they'll watch anything. No wonder we have so many unaddressed social problems!

8. You'll be sad to hear

That here in Bakersfield Dish Network are going to be cancelling The Kardashians, and Bridezilla, Kendra on Top or any other mindless shows WE has to offer if not enough people call to complain. LOL! I believe they are losing, more "threats" tonight.

3. I forgot what normal moms were...

Glad to know Bristol is one! I didn't think normal moms were bigoted assholes, whose whole speaking career is hypocrisy because of a nastier woman than herself...oh and I'm pretty sure normal moms do not have reality shows. Guess I'm the idiot here..

6. I'm losing patience with Lifetime

I used to like Drop Dead Diva, despite myself. I vowed never to watch it from the original promos they put out but for some reason I caught a part of an episode once and I liked it so I started watching regularly. Now they have Kim Kardashian on it so I'm back to having nothing to do with it.

I guess I still have Grey's Anatomy reruns in the afternoon.

7. Oh barf we've already seen enough of "the real Bristol."

God what an ego her and her mother have -- hello those of us who are "normal moms" don't need to watch somebody else being one, how boring!

9. Indeed

She and her entire grifting family are who Christ had in mind in Matthew 7.

11. I have female friends who are a lot more normal and grounded...

....than this grifter, her mother, and her sisters ever will be.
