(sorry if this is the wrong forum for this)
This isn't really new or anything since it was filmed several months ago but what a great lineup of talent. But after the second Dylan song I realized who was actually missing: Bob Dylan himself. I think it's fair to say they helped launch each others careers way back in the '60s before they broke up.
On the other hand if Dylan were present he would totally upstage the event, being the mega-star he is. Still, it would have been cool if he had unexpectedly wondered on stage for an appearance...

(268,949 posts)I went to this place where these ladies made really nice table cloths and table napkins. I pressed a bell and the door opened. I hadn't been there before - I saw this person and said good afternoon. Bwaaaaaaaaaaaah - I hadn't noticed the mirror - it was me

Something about Joan that has stick with me forever. I read in a magazine interview about her and mentioned that killing a tick by burning it off her dog was where being non violent ended with her.
I've always referred to that and tried, and failed more times than I care to mention, to set that as my ideal.

I love her! We shall overcome!
But I was sad that with age she has lost more of her Wonderful voice than Judy Collins.
I hope she is alright.
I wish I could afford her concert in Santa Fe in October.
She is a monument to song, civil rights and justice!
And she has stayed forever young
