DU bumper sticker stories, got any ?

Mine is on my back bumper. It's been "keyed" at least once. I don't know if there's been any educational/improvement value out of it but I can hope.

Anyone have any somewhat uplifting stories to tell that spring from your DU bumper sticker ? And, thanks for the sticker Skinner

and I drive around a pretty red part of Raleigh most of the time. My DU (one front, one back) is kept company by a "Turn off Fox" and several Obama stickers. My truck stands out, that's for sure!

Someone asked me a few months back if I was really a Democrat in my red county lol... I replied I was and she replied they were pretty scarce and she was glad to see me.

A woman said to me (in a McD's parking lot), "So you're the OTHER Democrat in the Valley," lol.

In response not to a DU sticker, but to a bunch of Kerry placards on my car. I live in a very red area of CA (Buck McKeon's district) and had just driven back home after volunteering for Kerry in Ohio.

So I guess here it's "We two, we happy two, we band of brother and sister."

Actually, I do know other liberals here. But we keep it on the down-low--unless you know our secret handshake.

I have also placed them in Italy, Austria, and France, as well as the Netherlands and the Czech Republic.

I've gotten waves and smiles when wearing my DU t-shirt in Germany.

This includes bumper stickers so I have none on my car. However, I have seen two other DU stickers here in my town!
