They covered protests this afternoon and included a group of right wing. homophobic lunatics. It's important to see the real hate out there.

Because there were no commercials last night, we got to see all the "little moments" and videos that the networks cut away for.

I don't remember conventions long ago having so much commentary that you couldn't hear the speeches.

I did completely miss the 2008 and 2012 conventions so maybe they were doing it then but I find MSNBC and CNN unwatchable.

That's one real contrast with the disaster last week. I sincerely hope this is a good omen.

I also hope the mileage you can get out of hate is limited.
