His screaming, red-faced diatribe was the nadir of mainstream public political discourse in the last 100 years.

Beyond even a George Wallace, and certainly worse than a Goldwater.

She did not attribute it to Cohen, but it is obvious to all that he inspired the thoughts the resulted in these beautiful lyrics.

Makes me tear up a little. And enables me to have empathy for those who I do not usually agree with. Freakin' Jewel. Humanizing the wingnuts. Jeezus pleezus. How is that even possible?

formerly of Senator Jesse Helms' office? If so, it's a little-known fact that he was the ghost-author of Ontario Premier Mike Harris' "Common Dunce Revolution" (sorry, Common "Sense" Revolution), as well as the infamous Lyn McLeod attack ads which showed her head spinning around like Linda Blair. If an infamous backroom troll like him can see the light, perhaps there is yet hope for humanity.

The Charles Manson kind (ordinary low-information jerks voting against their best interests) or Casino pukes ...the money bags.

Hmmm...can't decide if jayyyysus pukes are a third category or a subset of either of the above?

to pump Trump, I don't argue, I just try to change the subject

If they persist I tell them Trump is going to lose and he must
not be very bright

because he hasn't even deployed Joe the Plumber yet!

I think I know one dumb guy who will try to reassure me on that one,
that Joe will surface in the fall.

But it kind of does stop the stupid, at least for a moment.

And as Newt Gingrich would say to the Department of the Treasury (Secret Service), what lindy MEANT to say, of course, is save your budget. Send The Teflon Don to us. He could not be safer than wrapped in the loving arms of the Party he is singlehandedly ensuring our first across-the-board majority in a generation.
