Gov. Rick Scott purged from Florida voter list (if only)
Florida Gov. Rick Scott has been removed from his state’s voter rolls and might be unable cast a ballot in the November presidential election. Scott has been pressing county election officials to remove thousands of registered voters from their databanks based on information from the Florida Secretary of State that has proven to be inaccurate.
“Gov. Scott has demanded we keep people from voting and his name was on the list I got from the state so I really had no choice but to remove his name. He was given ample opportunity to prove his U.S. citizenship but failed to do so,” said Jennifer Johnson, Collier County’s supervisor of elections. “We sent a letter to the governor but he didn’t respond within the required timeframe.”
Scott’s voter registration purge is seen by many as an attempt to keep Democrats from voting in November. The Miami Herald reported the purge overwhelmingly targets minority and Democratic voters. Nearly 60 percent of those on the purge list were Latino, even though they make up only 13 percent of the state’s electorate.
We all know what occurred in 2000 and 2004. For over 12 years the Republicans have engaged in massive election fraud. If the Democrats and media had any respect for democracy, they would have never turned this country over to the incompetent fool George W. Bush, and the criminal Republican Party. The horrific 9-11, the two illegal wars, and the destruction of the American economy would not have happened, if true courage and leadership were exercised among Congress. Yet, in spite of the ongoing theft of elections, and the overwhelming evidence of it, the media is silent and so are the Democrats.
