Not that I have any use for royal anything, but he seems like a decent egg.

We admire the time you take to support your conclusions with objective sources and peer-reviewed evidence rather than simply typing a mere bumper-sticker.

one difference is, he was born into this role. He didnt have any choice in the matter.

So if the British people like having the facade of a traditional monarchy, and as others have noted as an institution the royal family generates significant revenue, tourist and otherwise- who am I to judge?

I find the idea a bit archaic, but like I said, he didnt ask to be put in this position... and to date he has handled it with really exceptional style and grace.

So, happy birthday.

I had my second baby right with his mom, 11 days before he was born and I always felt a connection with her. I had my final baby 2 months before Harry as well.

When William was born our town sent a huge package of gifts (that were later distributed to those in need). I can always remember his full name because one of our local radio stations has the call letters, WAPL, William Arthur Philip Louis. Our town sent WAPL cups, T-shirts, hats, etc., among other things. It was a fun time when the Royal kids were born!
