Good question.

Had the teevee on in the background, on MSNBC they were talking about potential VP picks. With Trump the question was reversed from who the candidate would choose to “Who would want that job?”, the implication being that no one with serious political aspirations would even consider the slot.

Did anyone else hear that? Has the discussion of the veep slot ever been discussed in those terms for any other candidate?

I cannot imagine anyone would want that job. I immediately pictured Chris Christie being dismissed from the stage and told to go home.
