was a musical genius, who created a "new sound" out of nothing, though I can see how some wouldn't care for it.

In just about all of his recordings, he played all of the instruments.

But, I really love how he worked away from the music industry, and detailed his treatment ... which, I believe, led other artists to take long looks at their contracts.
