I'm married to a local elected official and the scrutiny is hellish. Campaigning sucks. It takes its toll on families and mental health. Some idiot commenting on a JSonline article about my husband accused me of having an affair and producing a half-breed baby, only using terms not quite so nice. And my husband is just a county supervisor. Not a governor or a senator,

Feingold doesn't owe you or anyone anything.
