But that those who have done so should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law?

God DAMN it! There's that fucking attachment to the Constitution again. When, oh when will I get over it? It just sneaks up on a fellow at the most unexpected times. You'd think I'd be over that by now, since we have a constitutional scholar in the White House and everything, so there's no way what we've done in the past and what we're doing right now are in any way illegal.

I wouldn't even waterboard Cheney.

Not that I'd necessarily feel bad for him if it did happen, but I would not do it or sanction it.

The whole point of the issue is that I do NOT want Cheney waterboarded, despite his being an evil man.

Anyone who wants Cheney waterboarded is a terrible hypocrite on the issue, since if it is good for Cheney then why wouldn't it be good for Kahlil Sheik Mohammed? (I am not looking up the spelling... everyone knows who I mean.)

perhaps the chance for him to offer a truly informed opinion might be in order.

OK, not really. OF COURSE IT'S FUCKING TORTURE! And Cheney is a lying shitstain. (Still, every now and then I have to let my evil demons come out and play for a while.)

Then, when he says anything other than waterboarding, we have him by the short and curlies. The US government is VERY good at creating catch-22 situations where one is damned if the do and damned if they don't. That can be used to our advantage.

I would rather see him tried by the world court for war crimes and then put into prison or at least exiled from the North American continent. Let him try to find a safe haven any where else. He will be hunted like an animal by those who blame him for deaths to their family members because of his ill-begotten wars. I believe it would be a fitting end to this man who was also a hunter.

I think Cheney should be put in a windowless cell with a solid door that contains nothing but a toilet, a sink, two sleeping bags and George W. Bush. And I think they should lose the key right after putting them in there.
