I love Liz, but I cannot see a way that she gets the nomination.

First, it has become important to nominate a fairly young justice, one in their 40's or younger. Just right there, Warren would not be considered.

Plus, there's the deal where I think she wants to be a senator where she feels she can do some real good. I am all with her on that.

A young RBG is what we need (3 or 4 of them would be good); we need Elizabeth in the Senate...or maybe at the Fed.

Sorry but it really bugs me when people misuse the word.
precedent
noun
An earlier event or action that is regarded as an example or guide to be considered in subsequent similar circumstances.

precedence
noun
The condition of being considered more important than someone or something else; priority in importance, order, or rank.

I doubt Obama is going to pick someone who is overtly politically partisan. Only six sitting senators have ever been selected for the Court and the last time it happened was over 70 years ago.
