David Shuster reporting that Walker IS now a target of investigation in John Doe case

His anonymous sources are reconfirming this morning.

According to government lawyers familiar with a Milwaukee criminal corruption probe, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is now a "target" of the investigation.

The legal sources, who are not involved in Wisconsin's recall, spoke on condition of anonymity. They said Walker faces "serious legal challenges," including "a possible indictment," regardless of the election results on Tuesday.

The sources indicate Walker's status was clarified more than a week ago, allegedly following a series of requests by Walker's legal team that prosecutors publicly clear him of any wrong doing before the recall election. Take Action News reached out to Governor Walker's spokesperson for comment on this story and received no response.

And of course there is the usual non denial denial:

On Twitter, Wisconsin Democratic Party Communications Director Graeme Zielinski replied to Walker's latest denial, writing, "If @GovWalker had a letter or evidence clearing him in corruption probe, don't you know he would rent a firetruck? He's lying."

(end snip)

And, what he never states is that he did not take part in activities that are under investigation. He just blames the democrats for bringing it up.

Where is Scotty's letter clearing him? Hmmmm? Even KKKarl Rove had a letter.

1. Huge D'oohh! They likely called it John Doe because the target was a serving governor

and not because the target was unidentified. With so many people getting immunity to testify, they certainly know who the target is--the big boss of all the people getting immunity to testify against someone central to the conspiracy.

This is not rocket science and Scottie is no rocket scientist.

He is, however, a real high school graduate, unlike Governor Brewer in Arizona

2. Unfortunately,

there are enough misinformed voters who will take his word for it, just like they believe he cares about them.

3. What happens if he wins and then is found guilty? Does his second in command take over? Ugggh....

Or does the Dem win then? What does the WI Constitution say about this if anything? As if Walker and his buddies ever cared.

4. Beware SHUSTER's "reporting." Remember what he did with KKKarl's indictment?!1

Once again I was in the wilderness here, generally about my wariness of Keith OLBERMAN, but also about SHUSTER, who assured us for weeks that the KKKarl indictment was coming according to his sources. Then it ended with that part about "working days" or "calendar days" when the days expired by one count then the other count.

After it all came to naught SHUSTER went public with who his "sources" were: Attorneys who had experience with clients in front of grand juries. Not THIS grand jury and not anybody connected with the KKKarl case, and not anybody with actual knowledge of things going on inside the grand jury or inside FITZGERALD's office. In other words, the people feeding him were acting as PUNDITS giving their "expert opinions" or "expert insight." Because of their experience in front of (other) grand juries.

I suspected back then that Keith and SHUSTER (and SHUSTER had worked for Faux) were filling the role of telling us what we wanted to hear, the same way that Faux tells wingnuts what they want to hear.

I'll just beware about SHUSTER no matter how much I want to believe.
