It was an impressive performance and I was knocked out that she was accompanied only by a pianist. She sang our anthem beautifully and with respect.

Was her fidelity to the original melody, more or less ... With limited flourishes and arpeggios ... It's difficult for listeners to 'get it' when the vocalist is all over the map ... She was awesome, and I am not generally a fan ...
