These appear to be matured implants. They look like hair, but there is a definite pattern to their distribution on his scalp.
He should have gone back with a few more bucks and had the pattern randomized with a second round of plugs.
Yeah, I know. So does Joe Biden.

(14,522 posts)be surprised. When I saw the picture of him with his heeled boots I looked up his height. He is 5'10"----that is the reason for his heels. He seems to lack some self confidence.

In fact, it's average

didn't say he was short. I said he is insecure with his height. Trump and Bush are 6'3"

Cruz is 5-8 and Rubio is noticeably shorter.
mercuryblues
(14,522 posts)possibly even lies about his height. I googled and it seems some reports say that he is 5'8.

(3,967 posts)He is short and a little slight, he has shiny black hair, he may be a little balding. There are people that look like that. OK, we want a tall man, with full but trimmed wavy hair and grey temples and a strong jaw like Mitt Romney?
Just because Rubio's the opponent, and has a lot of flaws in preparation and position and record, doesn't mean we should be going to these easy tropes making fun of how he looks. That may draw on various subconscious biases about people of certain backgrounds.
Same goes for between Sanders and Clinton - best to stick to the people and what they say and do, and not to unkempt hair or criticizing the voice or whatever.
Looks and voice aren't going to affect our future. Policies and skills and character will.

(3,967 posts)I wouldn't choose to emulate Donald Trump's approach to critiquing people. "Look at that face" said the Donald.

(12,368 posts)Sadly tonight they forgot to do that.
His President Obama line kept repeating over and over. And at one point the strategic finger motion poked himself in the eye. Fortunately the cameras cut off when he bent over and tweaked.

(5,325 posts)Whether or not he has hair plugs is the least interesting question I think anyone could ask about this man.

(2,188 posts)While baldness doesn't bother everyone, it can be devastating to others. It really bothers some men (and women) very much. It looks natural enough.
