The mother's angry that she brought her 24-year-old daughter to the Canadian County hospital emergency room on Sunday, and she claims that the doctor who came in and saw them refused to do any sort of exam or provide them with any emergency contraceptives.

Not only that, she says the doctor was less than sympathetic when dealing with her daughter, even though she was told she was a victim of a rape.

The mother does say she and her daughter were treated much better when they went to Baptist Integris Medical Center in Oklahoma City and that they did get a rape exam done.

7. I hope she finds a good lawyer and sues. Any nurse can be trained to be a SANE nurse.

There's no excuse for not having SANE nurses available at any real "hospital," 24 hours a day.

And the doctor, IMHO, shouldn't be practicing if she refuses basic medical care.

Add to this people condemned to wheelchairs and worse because zealots won't allow stem cell research funding, dumbed down kids who are taught the bible instead of science, genital mutilation, holy wars, book burnings, and all the other adverse impacts that come with organized religion.
