She has secured a job and starts working Monday. It's a data entry job, but it's something she wants to do - and the hours works - she will work from 6 to 3pm. She's an early riser and used to working early.
She had been unemployed since March of 2011, and was on unemployment for most of the year, but was down to the final tier of her UI which would have been finished in August.
She will keep her UI until Monday, when she starts working.

(11,330 posts)my husband was in the same situation for 18 months it was stressful to the whole family.
The good news is he eventually got a good job similar pay to the one he lost and he actually enjoys it and is appreciated there by his management

The pressure was finally off.

(30,947 posts)She is fortunate to have those hours. If you live in a large metro area, at least she will avoid the heavy traffic.
