Fox releases 4-minute attack on Obama

So much for "Fair and Balanced." The Fox News program "Fox & Friends" has produced a four-minute video attacking President Obama (see above).

Over at the conservative website Hot Air, Ed Morrissey weighs in:

Note that F&F isn’t just playing a campaign ad or a YouTube spot from an outside political action committee. Nor does this come from the production company of one of its opinion-program hosts. The video starts with “Fox and Friends Presents” on the screen, making this an explicit argument from the news channel itself.

<snip>

No kidding.

For all its blatantly conservative programming, Fox News does a pretty incredible job of swearing up and down that it's nonpartisan. But it's kind of impossible to see how you walk this one back.

4. Oh, but walk it back they did

It was apparently one of those infamous self-producing bits that surfaces from time to time. We're accustomed to seeing it in legislation: "Now, how did those tax breaks for fracking get in that highway bill? Oh well, we need to lay more and better highways, so we can't just chip that out of there. Too late now." Fox is using the same ploy for this, as apparently gremlins occasionally materialize in their studios, produce scurrilous spots and put them on the air, and then vanish again.

8. Preaching to the choir

No fox "news" viewer is going to be swayed by that bullshit, because none of them were going to vote for Obama anyway.

They've already brainwashed all the low IQ, low information voters, most independents/centrists are smart enough to see through that crap.

So they've reached a point of diminishing returns. They'll have to go so far off the deep end to try to reach the remaining voters, they'll become a joke. Even more than they are already.
