Lawrence pointed this out tonight.
Remember that poll a week or two ago where Romney had a jump of approval among women?
He became the Republican nominee. As he clinched the primaries he picked up 21% among Republican women. A lot of Republican women must have been been holding out hope for Santorum or Gingrich or Herman Cain (very popular with the ladies, I hear)
I will admit to some prejudice here. When you say "women" I don't naturally think of a group that includes a lot of Republican women. My bad.
So it had not occurred to me that some RW women had been disapproving of Romney for being too liberal, and then came around.

Yet the MSM pundits reasoned that it was because Hilary Rosen said something mean about hard-working Ann Romney, and that most women really don't mind being vaginally probed by politicians. Harumph!

(10,960 posts)A week or two. There was a lot of ruckus about how Romeny's approval among women could possibly get a bump when he was being more anti-woman than ever.
But the bump was mostly among Republican women who were maing their peace with Romney as the nominee.
