These candidates are getting rich running for president

By Rick Newman

... Carson, perhaps more than any other presidential candidate, is profiting handsomely from the fame he has gained as a popular upstart contender for the Republican nomination. And unlike most candidates who put their business interests on hold while campaigning, Carson has continued to earn lavish speaking fees as a candidate, while also raking in book royalties and income from other sources.

Right behind Carson in the presidential windfall sweepstakes is Donald Trump, whose new book, "Crippled America," has sold more than 50,000 copies in less than one month, according to Nielsen Bookscan and other sources. Carson, Huckleberry Hound and Rump.

I mean, when I think of Carson, I think of Farson (the 'Good Man') in Stephen King's Gunslinger series. Farson was 'reputed to be whimsically, dangerously insane, and from what he's said, Carson seems to fit that bill, and if he becomes prez the consequences could be deadly for millions.

As to Huckleberry, 'God, Guns, Grits and Gravy????' Eeeew! Enough said.

And Rump - he's the most dangerous because he is taking the fascist demagogue trail and that is a dangerous path indeed for this nation and the rest of the world.

These are VERY SCARY people.

Also, do you notice something? Bernie, to his credit, isn't on this list. He isn't cashing in, and with a net worth less than $350K, he has NOT used his time in the House or Senate to enrich himself. And these people can inside trade and the whole bit. Most are crooked as corkscrews. But not Bernie.
