Who do you think will win the Republican Presidential Nomination?

Remember it's early and most people are not tuned into the election yet. It's probably going to shift.

I'm probably the last person in the country who thinks that! LOL

He just fits the repub. mold of the mainstream conservative. They are rigid thinkers.... they won't go with an upstart like trump. JMO

I remember when everyone thought McCain was out and he started to move up a bit and I predicted he would come back and win. I nailed that one and took a lot of grief for that prediction here on DU. People thought I was nuts suggesting McCain would come back.

What 538 has pointed out is only a very small % of Republican are tuned in right now and they are the Obama haters and the most nuts. The moderates will tune in a week before they vote.

But on top of being unwanted by the idiot core of the GOP, Jeb! has been exposed to be the dumber and less charismatic Bush brother.

I think it's Rubio that loses to Hillary.

The party is so fragmented, they'll probably attempt to bring Trump down thus Jeb will step in to the void. Money buys politics

I hope one of you can throw this post in my face come election time.

Because that would mean the Republicans selected a slightly less stupid candidate than Donald Trump.

How even people here cannot fathom a future without the standard American politicians like Jeb Bush.

I think Quixote1818 has a good point, though.

But he doesn't want it, no matter how much the GOP wants him. So my pick is Kasich. The only one who is marginally sane.

I think Jeb looks really awkward up there and when the moderates tune in a week before the election Kasich may be the one they go to. Either him or Rubio. I suppose if there continues to be a lot of people in the contest splitting the vote up Trump could still have a shot too.

Related to that is the possibility of either Cruz and Trump playing kingmaker for the other.

I mostly quite attempting to predict elections when Ventura was elected governor. I was sure he would not win. I ould not be surprised of Trump won the republican nomination and wins the election. Voters are fickle.

But, soon it will be too late for other to declare too. Robert Kennedy entered the race after New Hampshire and was on his way to the Oval Office in early June.
