Yes, I know that I should not listen to MSNBC!

Ok, I listened to the Morning Joe show, this morning on XM radio. I have no problem with how talking points and opinions are made. I try to hear both sides of an issues which helps me understand the issue. But I think it is time for the network to find a new format. I know things are not good in Syria and won't be getting better in the near future. The gun violence is at all time high. My main problem with Scarborough, is he tries to combine 2 or more issues into one and then blames it on Obama and the Democrats, making the Republicans look like they do no wrong. This goes on both side, but Scarborough has used this tool way more then anyone else. Enough is enough! Everyone know that Syria along with the Middle East was problem for the Bush administration and others before that and the gun issues has been around since before Reagan. I know I should not listen to him, but Fox news is worse and man, I just can't change the dial to that channel. It's wishful thinking, but I hope MSNBC makes a change. They had better talented people and took them off the air. I would get in a whole bunch of trouble if I was to blame someone before I knew all the facts, like get fired! I guess the press, if you want to call it the "press", can get away with it? Man, that is wrong. The constitution should mean more and standards of the press should be held to a higher regard.

If it's cable TV, find a movie or turn it off. I usually listen to Radio SingSing on the computer or one of the local college stations. I keep my car radio tuned to a Spanish station because it's impossible to be terribly depressed to most of it. If they start playing shite, I pop in a CD or bump the dial over to the classical station.

MSNBC has decided that the only way to change their ratings is to make a hard shift to the hard right. The only way to convince them this was a stupid idea is to deprive their sponsors of warm bodies to sell things to.

If you're Jonesing for news, go over to BBC online, visit the Newseum, or try Al Jazeera America, their reporting is the least biased I've heard since the 70s, although you'll never hear a story favorable to Israel. They mostly pretend Israel doesn't exist.
