Tom Marino reintroduces RAPID (climate denial) act: H.R.348

Tom Marino is trying his darndest to slip through an attack on the EPA under the guise of "promoting more jobs".
He wants to bind the hands of the agency when it comes to detailing the costs of carbon pollution.

The key excerpt from the bill:

A lead agency may not use the social cost of carbon in the environmental review or environmental decision making process.
The social cost of carbon (SCC) is the cost of emitting one extra tonne of carbon (as carbon dioxide) at any point in time

So, if the EPA wants to point out the financial impact of corporate pollution, they wont be able to. Corporations will run amok, polluting at will, and we'll be left to clean up their mess... assuming their pollutants don't kill us fist.
