Fishing is a very complicated matter. There being so many variables and differing situations involved in successful fishing, learning how to fish is a constant education.

Depending on the context I can imagine teaching fishing is either vocational training, avocational training, or survival training. It's probably other 'things,' too.

Conservatives believe in shouting, "Eat! Eat, you, poor lazy bastard!" to the hungry man and then walking away to get a bite to eat, all while remarking to each other, "That lazy bastard is starving to death. Serves him right for being so lazy."
