Bill O’Reilly Finally Gets Around to Being Outraged by MTV VMAs

Four days after the MTV Video Music Awards aired on television, Bill O’Reilly decided it was finally time for him to tell the world how awful he thought it was. So he invited former MTV VJ-turned-Fox News host Kennedy and noted millennial Meghan McCain onto his show so they could listen to him complain about the downfall of American culture.

“I know most of you don’t give a hoot about the MTV Video Music Awards,” O’Reilly acknowledged at the top of the segment. “However, the show that ran last Sunday evening was so base, so full of garbage it was off the charts.” He proceeded to show a highlight reel of the most scandalous moments, including some shockingly “pro-drug references.”

“This has devolved into trash and vulgarity,” McCain said, jumping on board with O’Reilly’s narrative. “And I am not a socially conservative person in many ways. And I am embarrassed of the fact that the only influence that young women have is a woman that’s going to go onstage naked, acting like this is acceptable and talking about being drugged on pot.” As she spoke, images from host Miley Cyrus’ 2013 appearance on the award show appeared on screen.

“If you’re a parent and you let your kids watch that show, shame on you,” O’Reilly concluded.

Kind of like showing people porn so they can see how bad it is? Okay Bill.

Let me get this straight. If MTV shows it, vulgar and scandalous.
If Bill O' Reilly shows it, it is, what, help me out here, a public service?

“I know most of you don’t give a hoot about the MTV Video Music Awards,”

So you just bring it up to be a jerk. Or, hmmm are you trying to lump allow the performers together?
